FAQ
Question 1: What is the reason why the flow display of the product cannot reach full range?
Answer: The product flow display cannot reach full range, which may be due to the intake pressure being lower than the rated value, and the inlet air pressure needs to be increased.
Question 2: Why can't communication be normal through RS485?
Answer: To communicate through RS485, it is necessary to ensure that the serial port, baud rate, and address selection are correct. Multiple devices under the same serial port must have different addresses. If communication is still not possible, check if the computer is missing a driver, if the serial port is occupied by other programs, if the data cable is connected correctly, etc. If the problem cannot be resolved, you can contact the system sales engineer or after-sales engineer.
Question 3: Why is there no gas passing through after setting the flow rate?
Answer: Check whether there is sufficient gas pressure at the front end of the flow controller, whether there is blockage at the front end, whether the valve mode is "valve control", and whether the digital control/analog control is selected correctly. In addition, standard products may not function properly when the front-end air source pressure is particularly high.
Question 4: Can your product be used to measure flammable/explosive/corrosive gases?
Answer: Flammable and explosive gases require the use of our explosion-proof products, while corrosive gases depend on their concentration. If it is a PPM level corrosive gas, ordinary models can be used, and dry nitrogen or other inert gases should be used to blow before and after each use; If it is a high concentration corrosive gas, a corrosion-resistant model is required.
Question 5: Can your product measure liquid flow rate?
Answer: There are models of liquid flow meters available. Please consult the sales engineer for specific operating conditions.
Question 6: Can you measure the flow rate of high-pressure gas?
Answer: The standard model can measure and control gases with a pressure of 900kPaA, while the high-pressure model can measure and control gases with a maximum pressure of 2MPaA. For higher pressures, please consult a sales engineer.
